Liverpool John Lennon Airport has introduced effective measures to create a safe and secure environment for both customers and vehicles. All car parks have 24 hour CCTV surveillance, high fencing, and are well-lit. Security guards patrol the car parks 24 hours per day. We use a modern pay-on-foot system with machines located in the terminal building; this prevents long queues developing at the car park exits.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is delighted to announce the introduction of 'Premium Parking'. Located adjacent to the terminal building, these convenient spaces provide an alternative to the regular Short Stay, Pick up and Drop off and long stay car parks.

Long Stay Car Parking
Liverpool John Lennon Airport boasts two spacious onsite car parks, conveniently located adjacent to the terminal building. The car parks have recently been expanded with an additional 1,200 spaces, so you will not have to worry about finding a space here.
There is a specially designated area of disabled parking bays immediately adjacent to the main terminal building in Long Stay Car Park 1.
We would advise all passengers to allow at least 30 minutes prior to Check-In to park their vehicle and make their way to the terminal building.

Passengers who pre-book can save up to 40% compared to the 'turn up & pay' prices, with the best prices available to those booking at least ten days prior to departure.
Please be aware that a non-refundable Booking Fee of £2.50 will be made on all Car Park Reservations confirmed on www.liverpoolairport.com. Unlike many of our competitors, we do not charge any extra credit or debit card charges!

If you decide not to prebook your Long Stay Car Parking, you will need to pay on your return at one of the many Car Park Pay Stations, prior to leaving the airport terminal building.

Short Stay, Pick up & Drop off Car Park
The Short Stay, Pick up & Drop off Car Park is conveniently located opposite the terminal building.
This is a pay on foot car park, where you will simply need to pay at one of the many Car Park Pay Stations, located throughout the terminal building or next to the car park kiosk.
The Short Stay, Pick up & Drop off Car Park is ideal for those dropping off, picking up or short stays. Note that the first 10 minutes is FREE, parking charges apply thereafter.

How to Pay
1. Non Pre-Booked Customers
If you have not pre-booked your parking, you can pay by credit/debit Card or cash at any of the Pay-On-Foot machines. The pay-on-foot machines are located throughout the ground floor of the terminal in both the Arrival and Departure concourses, with another machine next to the car park kiosk (Pick up & Drop off car park).
Please be aware that payment is not accepted at any of the car park exit barriers.
2. Prebooked Customers Only
Prebookings are valid in both long stay car parks. Upon arriving at the Car Park, drive up to the entry barrier to the Long Stay Car Parks and insert your Debit or Credit Card that was used to make the online booking. The barrier will then rise allowing you to enter the car park. Do not take a ticket from the entry barrier.
Upon your return to the airport, make your way directly to your car and drive to the exit barrier. Again you should insert the same Debit or Credit card, and the barrier will then rise, allowing you to exit.
Should you not have the original Credit or Debit Card on arrival at the car parks, please take a ticket from the entrance barrier. On your return and prior to returning to your vehicle, please report to the Car Park kiosk opposite the Yellow Submarine and present your entry ticket with the email reservation confirmation. Your ticket will then be validated for exit.
Important Notes for Prebooked Customers
As our pre-booking system operates on a credit card recognition system, it is important that you follow the instructions above. Please ensure that the Debit or Credit Card that is used to confirm the original online booking is valid at the time of your return journey. If a different Debit or Credit Card is used at the Car Park barriers, this may result in an additional charge being made to your account.
Once you have confirmed your booking online, you will receive an automated booking confirmation. You are advised to retain this and bring it to the airport, in the unlikely event of a system failure.
NB - Refunds are at the Airport Company's discretion and subject to a £5 administration fee. Please note that the £2.50 Booking Fee is a non-refundable charge and will not be refunded in the event of cancellation. Supersaver products are non-refundable.
Height Restrictions
There are no height restrictions on the Premium or Long Stay car parks. However we operate a 1.95m height restriction on the Short Stay, Pick up & Drop off car park, and the Multi-Storey car park (due to open end of 2008).
If you wish to drop off or pick up using a vehicle taller than 1.95m, please use Long Stay 1. We have introduced a special area for oversize vehicles within Long Stay 1 - simply follow the directional signage for 'Minibus drop off'.
The Long Stay 1 car park has a minimum tariff of £2 for stays up to 30 minutes, and £3 up to 1 hour, with standard tariffs applying thereafter. The pay stations are located inside the Terminal Building, and in the Short Stay car park (opposite the Yellow Submarine).
If you are carrying PRMs (people with reduced mobility), please drop off and/or pick up in the Long Stay 1 disabled parking area. Payment can be made at any pay station, or via credit/debit card payment at the exit barriers.
To pay by credit/debit card, insert the parking ticket into the exit barrier. The machine will display the parking charges. Then insert a credit/debit card, payment will be processed and a receipt provided.

Season Tickets
For regular users of the airport, a season ticket may provide a cost effective alternative. A season ticket allows unlimited access to the car park 24/7, 365 days per year. Season ticket holders are issued with a swipecard allowing seamless entry & exit from the car park. Please contact the car park department on 0151 907 1665 for prices & further information.
